Ukulele and Guitar Inlay Options
Inlay choices for your custom Lichty are endless. Typical materials used are Mother-of-Pearl, Paua-Abalone and sometimes wood. Some players prefer no or minimal inlay while others choose flourishes of vines, initials or personal symbols. Most choose fret markers and side dots as they can be helpful references that make working the fretboard easier.
Jay sets inlay with hand tools and / or CNC machines. He also reaches out to inlay masters such as Craig Lavin and Harvey Leach for special projects. Every design they have created is stunning!
