Listening Room

The idea behind our Listening Room came from Jay. He found (over and over again) that very few guitar and ukulele builder websites offer audio recordings, making it impossible to hear what the instruments sound like. We believe a description and photo only go so far and if you can’t listen to the instrument that just seems crazy.

We want you to experience Lichty Guitars; to get to know us better; to listen to the instruments Jay crafts and to enjoy the experience of world-class musicians playing them. To that end, we feature sound samples for most of our instruments that are recorded by Jay just after the strings go on. We’ve provided plenty of listening opportunities throughout the site and have also created this: Our Listening Room. Here you will find audio samples of our instruments, playlists and single track videos of some of our favorite Performing Artists playing their custom Lichty ukulele or guitar, demos of new instruments, and feature videos on Lichty Guitars. Check back often, as we’ll keep this content fresh.
